Conference Center Lodge

The Conference Center Lodge is almost done!

The work on the Conference Center Lodge will continue as soon as the snow is gone.  At this time, the septic and rough electrical systems are inspected and approved for use, the sheetrock is ready for finishing, and the plumbing rough inspection is done.  The Lord continues to bless this ministry by allowing us to slowly move forward with this construction.

Again we were blessed by more workgroups coming to work on this project.  This year, we will had three wonderful groups that came to minister with us.

First, was a group from our most involved workgroup church (at least the 14th workgroup to come and serve)

Indian Valley Faith Fellowship, Harleysville, Pennsylvania.  Perry and Sandy's PA home church

They worked on the main camp. (cabins, waterslide, amphitheather, and the x-fence)

Second, was the youth group and their leaders for a week from,

Cornerstone Church of Skippack, Skippack, Pennsylvania.  This is Tim Lindsay's home church, our Director.

Also, two groups of five retired couples came from all over the country, to minister here for six weeks in the months of August and September.

Volunteer Mobile Missionaries (VMM) from all over the USA.

And finally, to all of you in this area that have helped on the lodge --

Loving people from all over this area.

Thanks to their/your love for our Lord and their/your servant hearts, the Conference Center Lodge is about three quarters of the way done.  All work on this project is stopped for the winter, but we will continue the work next spring.

We have a GREAT Praise!

Thanks to our Lord's great working, the $30,000.00 Stove Hood is installed and has received final approval.  What a wonderful blessing!  Thank you for all your prayers in this matter!  (see a picture of the hood below)

We do have a continuing  need for prayer and finances.

As we work to finish construction, we still have the problem with some permits and inspections to finish the lodge.  We will need to use more licensed installers to install vent fans, heaters, and a woodstove.  This is because we are defined as a commercial facility, so more restrictions apply to us.

Because of this, we will need to raise about $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 more to finish the Lodge.

Please be in prayer for:

* the permits and inspections that are needed

* the $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 extra funds needed

And Praise our Lord for:

* the volunteers needed to keep the work going

* that the Stove Hood is finished
