Many of you know our Camp Director, Tim Lindsay, who has been at the camp for the past five years. It has been such a joy to serve alongside this man, and to see how God has used him. The Lord has started a new chapter for Tim, and is leading him out of camp ministry to serve with a new ministry called Law Enforcement Chaplaincy of Idaho.
As long as we have known Tim, he has had a heart for law enforcement officers, and the door has opened for him to be able to minister full-time in serving law enforcement personnel and their families, victims of crime and tragedies, and the community at large. (www.chaplainsofidaho.org)
This is a big change for the camp, yet we know that God will provide workers for the harvest and will bring the staff needed. We are truly thrilled for Tim during this next step in his life and we cannot wait to see what the Lord will do in and through Tim and his family! Tim will be with us through the end of this year and, when available, intends to continue to serve as a volunteer well into the future. We are so thankful for his desire to continue to be a part of the OFCR ministry!
Please be in prayer as we begin the process of finding the next person(s) the Lord is preparing to join us in the ministry of OFCR. Pray for wisdom that we will follow the Lord's leading and that He will provide the person(s) and resources needed as we move into this next chapter. And please be in prayer for Tim, Laura, Josiah, Caelan, Gabe and Micah as they begin their new journey.
From Tim Lindsay:
“December 31 of this year will be my last day serving at Old Faithful Christian Ranch. Although, I will continue to still serve over the winter months and whenever I can be available. I will focus on working with our local and state law enforcement and our community. We will now be reaching our Law Enforcement and the community with the love and compassion that our Lord gives to us. Our hope and prayers are that God uses this ministry to not only reach the men, women, and children in our community, but hopefully be able to go statewide and if God allows, nationwide. Our country needs God and we are called to be His witnesses. Please keep us in your prayers as we reach out to our community.” Tim Lindsay
